How to apply for a place at UNSW

There are two ways of seeking admission to an Australian university - one for local students; the other for international students.

Local Students

Australian and NZ citizens and permanent residents of Australia are regarded as "local" for admissions purposes.

Even if your high school qualification or diploma was obtained overseas, you must follow the Australian local admissions procedure and lodge your application through the University Admissions Centre, UAC

UAC is the central office which receives and processes applications for admission to most undergraduate degree courses, and diploma, advanced diploma and associate diploma courses at participating institutions in NSW and ACT.
